Renovation Update

When our Club was purchased almost two years ago the members were promised that $3 million would be spent in improvements within the first three years. That obligation has been met in less than two years. To-date $3.7 million has been spent on the golf course, pool complex, parking lot and Utility building. Now we are entering into the next phase of renovation and an additional $4 million dollars of improvements to our clubhouse. We are truly fortunate as members to benefit from and enjoy the renovation of Dellwood Country Club without any assessments.

Construction on the clubhouse will begin around October 15th. The initial focus will be on the new Golf Shop and the Exercise Facility. The outside stairs between the clubhouse and the pool area will be closed as we begin work in that area. There will be no impact to the clubhouse until we close in January. Watch for regular updates as we progress through this next phase.

Key elements of the clubhouse renovation include:
New Golf Shop
Golf Simulator and Exercise Facility
Member Bar/Lounge
Fine Dining Room Addition
All interior areas will be redecorated
New Furniture
The exterior siding and roofing will all be replaced
Adding an Elevator
Expansion of both lower and main level kitchens
Installing fire sprinkler system

As a reminder, please ensure that your golf clubs are picked up and lockers cleaned out before the end of December. All lockers will be cleaned and refinished so we need everything removed to make your locker look great. Thanks for your help on this!

In October we begin the process of appointing new members to the Advisory Committee. Mike Esch is chairing the Nominating Committee this year. If you have an interest in serving on the committee, please contact Mr. Esch this month.

We have a number of great member events scheduled between now and the end of the year and hopefully we will be playing golf for another 4 to 6 weeks. The entire staff of Dellwood Country Club looks forward to seeing you at the Club!
