WGG News

I will start this month’s article with a correction from the results that were posted in the October Newsletter. Women’s Match Play Champion: Barb Sawyer,

Women’s Match Play 1st Flight: Sheri Henck. So sorry for the mistake; I need to do a better job of proofreading what I write!

Due to weather, our WGG 18 hole closer was delayed. Our ladies played in the morning of October 14th and enjoyed a wonderful lunch following.

SPECTACULAR!!!  That is the best word I can find to describe this year’s Dellwood golf season! We have truly had it all: our club & course in the best shape ever and incredible weather with which to enjoy it! October has continued to give us great golf weather. Not to be greedy, however let’s hope we have a few more bonus days as we head into November!

As I write this, the WGG is looking forward to one of our signature events of the season, the Halloween Glow Ball. It happens too late in the month to be included in the newsletter so next month I will share the highlights with you.

The WGG will stay busy in November finalizing next year’s calendar and holding our first organizational meeting to discuss strategies for a successful and fun 2016 golf season. If you have any suggestions or new ideas, please send me an email; I would love to hear from you. We are always looking for ways to get more women involved and improve your golf experience.
