As we race past the mid-year mark, July has been another action-packed month for the WGG!
July 12th we hosted our “Jungle” 9-hole Guest Day. We had a beautiful evening with approximately 50 members and guests participating. A special thank you to Cathy Poechmann and Roxanne Nelson for helping the club coordinate a spectacular event! Congratulations to our winners! Special thanks to Clayton & Derrek – loved your costumes, you were real team players. Thank you Dennis, Tom, Chef Peter and the rest of the staff. Our guests were pampered from start to finish and the food was fabulous!
The other major event in July for our women is the Solheim Cup, July 29th. The results from this event will appear in the next newsletter, as the event hasn’t yet occurred as of the writing of this article.
Congratulations Traveling Team!! You ladies are smoking-hot this year! They are going into the last competitions of the season with a strong lead. I’m looking forward to sharing the final results when they finish in August at North Oaks.
